I have three years of teaching experience. During that time, I've taught second-grade and third grade. I've also been tutoring students individually for the past three years as well, including working before school to help elementary school students in reading, math, and STEM subjects. As a tutor, I'm comfortable helping students with a wide array of subjects, but I'm also comfortable working with students at any age and level of ability. I find some students only need some additional cleanup in their understanding of subjects, while others need to develop problem-solving in critical thinking skills or help comprehending abstract ideas. I can tutor general elementary school topics, English grammar, essays, ESL, special education, public speaking, test preparation, and more. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and dogs.
